Strong Recommandations of MSDN forum to explain why answers are slower, fewer?
After using several months of the newly-rebuilt MSDN forum, I don't think it fits us very well. Compared with
the previous version, I think:
1) Community Forum is a place for us to talk with each other to solve questions, so languages won't be a core problem bcoz we can have a chat with a common language——English. However,
we cannot help a person whose language doesn't belong to our initialized language setting
(though I know we can clear the language settings). To help more, we must cancel doing that to imporve and gain more answers;)
2) The speed of the MSDN isn't very fast, ESPECIALLY when I choose several fields from the TreeView.
3) It cannot remember which fields I've chosen, I have to remember it by manually keeping it in "Favouriate" folder.
4) When I mark it as an answer, the symbol isn't so sensitive. I hope you should make the border or background color of the answer "light green", you can refer what
www.asp.net does to a correct answer.
5) How many contributions (such as how many answers a man has successfully answered). How many points has a man earned to courage them? (We cannot see). WHAT'S THE WORSE THING IS——Scores of top 5 isn't upgrated correctly.
PS: These are ONLY SUGGESTIONS, but the reason why I put to "Forum Issue" is bcoz I think they will slow
up the community members to answer questions and reply as well. These "features" aren't so nice, Hope
Microsoft can be sensed and improve it just like the forum of
www.asp.net.
