windows home server 2003 connector software RRS feed

  • Question

  • at the moment i am running whs 2003 on mainly windows 7 platforms without any problems.

I also have a packard bell desktop pc running windows xp home 32 with sp3. When installing connector software from the cd, the installation places the "shared folder" on my desktop after connecting but fails at the point of configuring backups. The software says i need to upgrade to the latest version of the whs connector software. On downloading the software from the server and installing, it then says that my version of xp home 32 is not compatible with this version of whs connector software!

    Why not?

  • Do you have SP3 installed on your XP Client?
