Client Connect Issue RRS feed

  • Was a previous Home Server User. After transition to 2011 my supplier never told me to uninstall the old connector software. Now presented with 'Another Installation is in progress' error.

    I have now uninstalled the old connector, purged the registry of Home Sever entries (as far as I can tell), removed the Server directory (including logs) from the app deployment area of the client with no success. Where does this 'flag' exist that tells the install to terminate?

  • Most common cause of this issue is older logitec webcam sw doesnt cleanup after itself.  Uninstall all logitec webcam sw including VID, drivers etc. then reboot and try your connectoer install again.

    You can then reinstall the webcam sw if uyou wish.

    If that doesnt work there is another thread in this forum that provides some regsistry tricks to try.
