Timesheet Submit issue in Project Server 2007

Question
-
Hi,
In Project Server 2007, i am added to team member group.
I have updated timesheet in the following manner:
Click My Timesheet
Click to create timesheet
Administrative- sick time - for specific date i entered 8h
Click save
After that i click save and submit
Once i click this i am getting the error message saying "The submitted timesheet contains lines which either are pending approval or have been rejected. You must either delete these lines from your timesheet or obtain approvals and resubmit. "
i have checked with the timesheet manager, he is able to see my submitted tasks, but the approve and reject option is disabled.
The timesheet manager is having administrator rights.
Please let me know what is the meaning of this error and how to resolve this.

Hi GokulRaj,
If any of your administrative time has set "Approve" = "Yes", Suppose for Vacation then whenever a resource make time entry to Vacation then resource first have to "Save it only. No Save and Submit
Then your Res Manager will "Approve or Reject" the time entry respective to that administrative task ("Vacation") from approvals section.
Then only that resource can Save and Submit the timesheet.
Note: You can't Save and Submit the timesheet which have time entry to administrative task which has approve = yes. First need to save it get the approval from RM then save and submit.

Check if you have any pending approval/rejected Administrative Time categories.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc197537(office.12).aspx
After team members create their Timesheet and enter hours for an Administrative Time category such as Vacation, they click Save and Submit and the approval process begins. A Project Server Queue Job called Timesheet Update is created to process this request. The Timesheet Update is sent to the Timesheet Manager for review. By using the Project Server Queue infrastructure, team members are not required to wait for the timesheet submission to be processed; instead, they can submit their timesheets and immediately proceed with other work.
After the team member submits the Timesheet, the following message may appear in red text at the bottom of the page: The submitted timesheet contains lines which are either pending approval or have been rejected. You must either delete these lines from your timesheet or obtain approvals and resubmit. This message appears if the Timesheet contains Administrative Time categories still pending approval or which have been rejected. After the Administrative Time is approved or the item is deleted from the timesheet, the message no longer appears, and the user can submit the Timesheet for final approval.

Hi,
After submitting the timesheet(filled administrative time), the timesheet manager in his/her approve timesheet page he/she can see the timesheet submitted by the team members, but he/she is not able to approve or reject that timesheet.
The options approve and reject are disabled.
What is the reason for that?

Hi ..Just a stab in dark..
Did anyone of your administrator close the Timesheet period? Please verify & if possible ask the TM to recall, recreate & submit again..
Hope that helps.
