Can anyone sit for 70-483 - Programming In C# ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm looking to start getting Microsoft certifications, and haven't been able to find much information on the new MCSD: Metro Style Apps certifications. I've looked through the certifications that pearsonvue offers and can't find 70-483; I only find 71-483. I also see the published date for this certification is: September 24, 2012(In development) . Is the 71-483 the development version of this certification? Can anyone sit to take that version?

  • Here is a link to Microsoft for some more information on this test.

Also Pearson Vue does not offer Microsoft Exams they are done with Prometric. This test is coming out in September. So it is in Beta form right now. Generally speaking when you see a test that starts with 71 that means it is a beta release. Anyone can pay for and take a beta test. When you take a Beta test you do not get a score right away and do not know if you pass the test the same day you take it. I would recommend finding a different test for now and waiting for this test to not be in beta before taking it.
