    I am creating a workflow to send an email with ab attachment to a new lead when a new lead record is created.

    On the email form - it will not let me put the {Email(Lead)" field in so that the process is automated.

    How do I specificy the form look up the record in question and fire off an email without me having to pick and choose each time?

    If I understand your situation, set the look for to be Lead and then from the second picklist pick Lead. Then click add, this will insert Lead(Lead) into the To field.
