Separate Workbook naming scheme within Excel VBA RRS feed

  • Question

  • Greetings,

I'm not a programmer, I use this for coding some topics for structural engineering.

I'd like to get a better naming scheme for exchange between worksheets.  All of the input and transfer schemes of names within the workbook and the worksheets lock up after first defining them.  Therefore, they must be manually input for each type of assignment.  This can mean there might be a way to unlock that parameter which defines the use of worksheet or workbook for the definition.

Is someone saavy at this that can give me a few hints about the Excel naming scheme?

  • Although you have defined the problem I'm not sure what you mean by "worksheets lock up after first defining them", can you show a screenshot of what you mean by this?

Also unsure what you mean by

This can mean there might be a way to unlock that parameter which defines the use of worksheet or workbook for the definition.

Lastly, if this is not VB.NET (you indicated VBA) I will need to move this question to the proper forum.
