    Is anybody know how to create new SSRS report for crm 4.0 and deploy?

  • Hi,

     

    There is not too much difference on the way of creating SRS reports between 3.0 and 4.0. If you compare the report writer guides you will realize that they arre almost the same. So, I think that that tutorial could be still helpfull to understand the basic things of writting reports for CRM 4.0.

    You can find quite good information on the CRM DSK as well

    I have seen that link, but i'm looking for report writer guide for crm 4.0 not for 3.0.

  • You can use Microsoft BIDS 2005(2008 and R2 doesn't work with 4.0)..

    To create a reports using BIDS please follow below link

    Once done writing report..upload the .rdl file into crm from

    workplace-> reports-> New

    To deploy SSRS Report to CRM 4.0 , You just create a New Report in CRM 4.0 & select (.rdl) file that you have created.
