Hmmm - something's screwy, but I can't see anything obviously wrong, except that it's showing an error code which implies that it's not activated.
Were you asked to enter the Product Key at the end of the procedure I gave you?

If not, please use the Change Product Key link in the System Properties page to change the Key to the one on your COA sticker on the case - you will then probably have to activate by telephone.

If you were asked to enter the Key, did you use the one on the COA sticker, or some other one you got from somewhere?

As far as I can see, all that's required is that you validate the system - go to www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate and see what happens - if it passes, you should be offered MSE and IE9 If it fails, it should be obvious :) Follow the instructions there, and then try validation again, then post back with a new MGADiag report.

What's the EXACT error that the validation site gave you?

Your Diagnostic Report is telling me there is Binding Data that is incorrect. I recommend following the below steps. The steps will force Vista to recreate it's Licensing Store and repopulate the data. My feeling is this should correct the Binding Data discrepancy.

    1) Open an Internet Browser window.
    2) Type: %windir%\system32 into the browser address bar.
    3) Find the file CMD.exe
    4) Right-Click on the found file CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
    5) Type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
    6) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
    7) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
    8) Type: cd %windir%\system32
    9) Type: net start slsvc
    10) Type: cscript slmgr.vbs -rilc (It may take a long time for this to complete, please be patient)
    11) Restart your computer twice.
    12) You may be required to enter the Product Key and/or Activate.

So I followed the above and this is what I received now. Previously it stated my program was genuine.  Geesh!

    Diagnostic Report (1.9.0027.0):

    -----------------------------------------

    Windows Validation Data-->

    Validation Status: Invalid License

    Validation Code: 50

    Cached Online Validation Code: 0xc004c4a8

    Windows Product Key: *****-*****-JQMWD-2QJRJ-RJ34F

    Windows Product Key Hash: R8gPTEFMoOygFewoq/uOoWMpz68=

    Windows Product ID: 89578-OEM-7332157-00237

    Windows Product ID Type: 2

    Windows License Type: OEM SLP

    Windows OS version: 6.0.6002.2.00010300.2.0.003

Hmmm - something's screwy, but I can't see anything obviously wrong, except that it's showing an error code which implies that it's not activated.
Were you asked to enter the Product Key at the end of the procedure I gave you?

If not, please use the Change Product Key link in the System Properties page to change the Key to the one on your COA sticker on the case - you will then probably have to activate by telephone.

If you were asked to enter the Key, did you use the one on the COA sticker, or some other one you got from somewhere?
