  • The copy of Windows 7 installed on your system is Pirated.

The Windows 7 OEM:SLP serial that is installed on your system is for an Acer manufacturer system & your system is a Toshiba.

  • Noel your are reading too fast.

Your windows is not valid. You have a toshiba computer. Your install is using an Acer OEM SLP key. An OEM SLP must be installed at the factory at the time of manufacture. yours wasn't .Your bios date 10/10/2006 predates the release of windows 7 by three years.

You will have to purchase a legitimate copy of windows

    A)   OEM SLP: This key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes from the Factory. This key is geared to work with the special instructions found only on that Manufacturer's computer hardware. So when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP key (at the factory) Windows 7 looks at the motherboard and sees the special instructions and Self-Activates. (that's why you did not need to Activate your computer after you brought it home)

EDIT: I guess I'm really slow this morning TB19 responded while I was typing and drinking coffee

    hi

You appear not to have activated the system as yet - are you having problems doing so?
    Try telephone activation.
     Click on the Start button
    in the Search box, type
    SLUI   4
    and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions - but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you.
