Windows 7 says its not gen but it is, Blue Screen of Death earlier

Question
-
I had a Blue Screen of Death earlier today and ran a Chkdsk and AVG antivirus scans but nothing came up.
The BSoD only lasted a second, and the system restarted normally.
After I shut down my laptop and started it back up a few hours later, the Windows is not Genuine window came up shortly after startup.
This version is genuine, I upgraded from Windows Vista that came preinstalled on my laptop, bought about 4 years ago, to Windows 7 Pro a few months after it came out. I bought it from my university (who has a deal with Microsoft) and it has worked perfectly since I bought it. I am pretty sure I activated it as soon as I installed it.

BSOD: In case another BSOD happens you want the blue screen to stay open long enough for you to write down the error message. Press WinKey+Pause to open the System Properties page. In the upper left click on Advanced System Settings. On the page that opens in the Startup and Recovery section click the Settings button. On the Startup and Recovery page uncheck Automatically Restart under System Failure. Close out.
Non Genuine Message: Click Start, type 'cmd' in the Search/Run box, and right click on the CMD icon at the top of the results pane. Select Run as Administrator. When the cmd window opens type 'sfc /scannow' at the prompt and hit Enter. When the scan completes close the cmd window. Restart the computer and see if the message persists, If it does, use System Restore to recover to a time before the BSOD.
