    I have to create a record using javascript in ms crm 2011

  • Have you added the json library in as a web resource and added it to the entity form? Note this library needs to be adding above any other libraries on the form.

      there is a whole new way of doing this stuff in cmr2011 using REST endpoints

    I tried link what ur given

    but i am getting this error

    There was an error with this field's customized event.

    Field :Window
    Event :Onload

    Error  :'window.JSON' is null or not an oblect

    when I open letter entity..

     Kirsten is correct you need to follow these  library before refering to json class.

    this is my sceen shot of letter form properties

    When open the letter form i am getting alert("error") after clicking ok button it shows like this

    There was an error with this field's customized event.

    Field :Window
    Event :Onload

    Error  :'window.JSON' is null or not an object
