Black screen on closing Windows 7, 1 program still needs to close: Why? RRS feed

    Lately I have been getting a black screen with the message "1 program still needs to close" waiting for task host Windows" all else seems to be working OK, have been getting all the latest Windows updates, just this annoying black screen.  Can anyone help?

    Hi,

    Please refer to the following article and install the hotfix to check the result:

    There is a delay when you shut down, restart, or log off a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2
