comdlg32.ocx Win10 not working

    Question

  • I migrated applications from a Win 7 computer to a new Win10 computer and one of the sys32 programs will not run because comdlg32.ocx or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

I downloaded comdlg32.ocx but it fails to load when I run REGSVR32.

  • Hi chuck4788.

I suggest you to ask this question in the Microsoft Community for Windows.
Anyway, you should either try executing the setup program for that application in compatibility mode targeting a previous Windows version or using the feature to run program made for previous versions of Windows (under Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features).

    Bye.
