IE7 Security and Downloading Files RRS feed

    There is a setting in IE7 'Automatic prompting for file downloads' which is setting to disabled where I work and I need to setup our application to work around this with out changing the registry.  My application is downloading a csv file using the Response.Write function which works just find when the user clicks on a link.  When I try to download the csv on page load my only option to get both the page to load and the file to download was call javascript to open up another window to download the file.  The problem is that IE7 is blocking the download (the dialog appears and close).  I think it is blocking it because it does not think it is user-initiated download.  Any thoughts on how to get around this or do it another way?
