That's a pretty generic error code. I would verify the startup state of each OCS service on the affected server. It's possible that if any are disabled the uninstall process is failing. IF so I'd set them back to Manaul or Automatic and re-run the uninstall.

there are 3 services: OCS Front-End, IM Conferencing and Telephony Conferencing
