And where did you mention OneCare in your original post?
I will move this back to the firewall topic now that you have stated that OneCare is involved.
Did the connection with the PS3 work before you installed OneCare?
Try turning off the OneCare firewall - open OneCare, change settings, turn off the firewall.
I am not familiar with the PS3 connection, but I believe that it actually shares the Internet connection of the PC. So, you may need to go to the advanced settings in OneCare's firewall and under ports and protocols, place a check mark next to the Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) option.

whatever... id think that it would be ON topic because its windows live care firewall that is causing me ps3 not to connect but whatever... i dont care anymore
