  • And where did you mention OneCare in your original post?

I will move this back to the firewall topic now that you have stated that OneCare is involved.

Did the connection with the PS3 work before you installed OneCare?

Try turning off the OneCare firewall - open OneCare, change settings, turn off the firewall.

I am not familiar with the PS3 connection, but I believe that it actually shares the Internet connection of the PC. So, you may need to go to the advanced settings in OneCare's firewall and under ports and protocols, place a check mark next to the Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) option.

You can also contact OneCare support:

  • You're off topic for this forum, which is dedicated to Windows Live OneCare. You may want to try Sony support or the Microsoft Public newsgroups here: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx
