    i ran a virus scan last nite and resolved a couple threats...and tried to restart..rite before the restart i saw the error...detected a virus...and couldnt delete or somethin...but the restart went thru...when it came back...the desktop was blank...i tried to run in it safe mode....same thing...i cant do anything...whats wrong with it...

    i have had the same problem and 4 microsoft techs have contacted me and still no fix

    so what is the problem

    Has anyone found a cure??????

    I have checked other messages and so far no one has offered a solution that worked.

    Who ever offers a fix that works, should win some type of award!!!

    i also have the same found a file in the windows folder called ntbt.log that shows the windows starting and then not loading the drivers for the icons and startbar and vga and modem and dvd it stops them all still trying to find the file or dll that is causing the prob
