Training: Mix Mode using server 2003 and server 2008 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am completing training for my MCSA and Exchange 2007 designation.....

I have 2 Windows Server 2003 (1- standard, and 1- Enterprise), and one 64bit beefy box running Windows server 2008. Neither box has been converted into a Domain controller yet. But I was wondering if I can create each as a DC and run them in a mixed mode configuration?? Would I or should I configure the server 2008 to function with the 2003 Enterprise box, and then standard 2003 box......., or the Enterprise 2003 box to the 2008, and then the standard? Remember I will need install and create an Exchange 2007 environment preparation for my certification tests.

    Thanks........
