  • Hello Nola,

Everything appears to be in order basedon the Diagnostic Results provided. Can you please share with us any error codes and/or messages you are receiving eluding to problems? This would help us to analyze any problems which you may be having. Also did you Activate windows already?

    Thank you,

  •

I stumbled across another post and downloaded the Validation tool manually.  That solved one problem.  Now I am able to download the updates, but not install them.  The only information I get as an error message is that there is a problem with my computer that is not allowing the updates to install.  I know that this is not your specialty, but if you could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

  • Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP installation: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943144
