    Q1: Does Office Communicator 2007 Public Beta client supports Outlook contacts (auto detection for inbound calls)?

     

    Q2: If Q1 = Yes. Can normalization rules be set for transforming (PBX->SIP says 12345679 / Outlook contact phone field has +1-123-45679)?

    Hi Captain MESO,

    Q1: I have not heard of this feature and have not seen any mention of it in the documentation. It is a great suggestion, that I will forward on to the Product Group.

    Q2: If they implement this suggestion in the next version of OCS, they would come up with a way of matching numbers that are as different as you suggest. They would have to since so many contact phone numbers are entered so differently.
