General question: What are the point of failures for the following errors? RRS feed

    Hi, I know that this question may sound general but I would like to hear the point of view of people from the Microsoft community.

    What are the possible point of failures (whether hardware or software) for the following errors:

    1) BSOD - Blue screen of death

    2) System lock-up or hanging on the Windows logo

    3) System automatically rebooting upon login

    Any ideas would greatly help.
