Portfolio Analysis - Project Priority Values RRS feed

  • Question

  • Do the project priorities that are caluclated as part of portfolio analysis, get stored anywhere? I am trying to use this field to publish the project ranking for a planning horizon after the analysis has been commited...

Using MSPS 2010, SP1, June CU

  • Hi Prasanna,

Unfortunately, very little data from the portfolio analysis part of project server is available in the reporting database. Only information about project commitments is available in the table 'MSP_EpmProjectCommit'.

You will need the PortfolioAnalyses Web Service from the PSI to retrieve portfolio analysis data (see the SDK).

    I hope this helps,
    Hans

  • Check the Portfolio Reporting Solution Starter on CodePlex.  I haven't played
with it yet, but it's supposed to move some of the Portfolio data from Publish
    to Reporting.
