Another possibility to lose points:
Say, your post was marked as answer by moderator - if it was a quick answer, it's 15 points.
Now, the OP comes and unmark that answer - it's - 20 points.
This way you end up with - 5 points. Although it should be -20 from the last time.
Also, you may lose points if you published something in the gallery and it received low mark.

Your profile activity shows you got credit for an answer marked by the asker yesterday, so that accounts for the 15 points you have. You could have gotten points for some of the Wiki articles you edited (based on number of views), and I find this often is not reflected in our activities. But of course you don't lose those points.
I note your point total is 15, but the pie chart of points shows 20. Is this what you refer to? The numbers also do not match in my profile. I cannot explain.

Profile says 1 helpful vote.
BTW, this answer
should not have been marked as answer - it was a copy of someone's else reply with a comment that it was good answer. So, the moderator should unmark that answer, IMHO.
