I lost my windows xp cd and i re-installed windows using a different cd but i have my COA sticker any idea how i can validate my original copy without having the cd
Thank you for posting in the WGA Forum today. More than likely you won't be able to validate because your using a different product key for the version which you installed. Your best option is to contact the technical support for the manufacturer of your system and request them to please send you the recovery media for the model of your system. Then you should not have any problem. This will require you to perform a complete reinstallation.
