vbscript is 10x slower after Win 10 1803 Update RRS feed

  • Question

  • The version of vbscript.dll delivered with Win 10 Version 1803 appears to be more than 10 times slower than previous versions. This is crippling my automation scripts (launching through wscript.exe - not related to IE or any websites).

    See for example: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/52117872/vbscript-slow-under-windows-feature-update-1803

Has this been fixed in any subsequent update/patch?

  • Aussie Gallah, we are experiencing the same slowdowns.

    Have you found a solution?

    Is it resolved in 1809?

Have you reported it at https://developercommunity.visualstudio.com/spaces/8/index.html as suggested by Baron Bi?
