3.0 forum Mobile alerts just USELESS (no info about thread) RRS feed

    Hello,
    mobile alerts sent from 2.x forum included RE:<thread name>. Now (3.x) I receive just absolutely meaningless message "A forums thread you have subscribed to has been updated".

    WHICH thread?

    This was a size limit by the live alerts provider. We have made a couple of changes in the past on how we are leveraging that service. I'll look into if the size restriction is still an issue based on how we are interfacing with the service.

    Mobile alerts are restricted by size. As I recall, we just don't have space to add information (in mobile alerts). You can always go to the "my alerts" page, and the ones with the most recent posts will be on top. I know it's not the ideal solution...

    Matt,
    I'm not asking for new functionality but miss the old one.

    Please don't try to persuade me that mobile alerts got restricted more with 3.0 forum. SMS limit is still 160 chars here in Europe.
