Asked by:
how to add a group to a user?

Question

Exchange 2013
in Exchange, there is this:
for each mailbox. if i place a group in that delivery restrictions dialog box, the user will only receive emails from that group.
i can add members to a group using powershell, but how do you add a group to that message restrictions box using powershell?

Did you at least try to search for? .... like this:
exchange mailbox message accept restriction
The first hit explains actually everything you need

Additional tipp: When you activate the command protocol in your Exchange Admin Center you can see what commands are fired in the background. ;-)

Following the instructions to search for an answer this was found in the first three links returned:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb397214(v=exchg.160).aspx
This is the search criteria: https://www.google.com/search?newwindow=1&q=set-mailbox+message+delivery+restrictions&oq=set-mailbox+message+delivery+restrictions&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i30k1.105402.113090.0.113356.24.24.0.0.0.0.383.4374.0j1j15j2.18.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..12.12.2738...0i7i30k1j0i5i30k1j0i13i30k1j0i13i5i30k1j0i8i13i30k1.YynyD3-eKKQ
Ihis will also show you many other aspects of this function.
Help and searching are the first steps to take when researching an answer. The exercise will, at a minimum, help you to find the correct language to ask your question and, most often, will return an answer. The research will help you when you post in a technical forum.
