Is MS academic search updated? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi. I noticed that until earlier this year (2013), the publication graph showed counts of publications / citations until 2012. Now it only shows until 2011, even though it is now half past the year 2013!

I wonder why this happens. Will it be updated automatically? Or do I have to do something myself?

    Best.

  • Hello Ichiro Ide,

Thank you for contacting us, and apologies for our delayed response. We are working on indexing additional content, and as more content is indexed accuracy and completeness of citations will continue to improve. In the meantime, it is possible for users to add publication to Microsoft Academic Search. To learn more, see Adding publications in our help documentation.

    Best regards,

  • Hi Thomas, does that mean MS Academic Search is still active? It would be great to trust it to show most prolific authors by specialty. Can I do that?
