CRM 2015 Online, subgrid Add(+) button and View button

Hi,

In CRM 2015 Online, I created a few of custom system views and added them as subgrids to entity form, such as contact. Some subgrids shows both Add(+) button and View button, some show only Add(+) button no View button, and other show only View button no Add(+) button. I am really confused by the design of subgrid in Dynamic CRM. What decides to show Add(+) button in subgrid, and what decides to show View button in subgrid? Thanks.

Hi,

Is this happening both for users and for those that are system administrators? It sounds as if there is a security role issue on the entity with create/update/append/append to.

Thanks for your response. I am a system administrator, so I assume this is NOT security role related.

The ones without view button are probably set up so that they aren't showing on the entity, have a look at the relationship setup for that. I can't really explain the lack of add if you're a sys admin though, at least not at this hour :)
