CRM 2011: Trial License Expired RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Does anyone know if there is ANY supported way to get an expired trial license working while waiting for the real license key?
Is there for example any way to extend the trial period?

    Thanks,
    Emil

What you're asking is actually to crack the installation and pirate the software. Sorry, but I will not help you with that.

What you could do, however, is to install CRM on a new server with a trial licence key, and then import the database from the expired installation

Sorry for not making myself clear enough, I asked for a supported way.

My problem is that the license is ordered, but the delivery takes 24-48 hrs and I was looking for a SUPPORTED way to activate the envorinment during the time of delivery - not to commit license violation. Didn't expect much answers (since not even MSFT Premier Support will be helpful) but I took my chances.
However the key will most likely be delivered during the day so redeploying the environment won't be necessary. Thanks anyway!
