Micorsoft Vista Problem RRS feed

  • I recently recieved my computer and the problem is that i have the microsoft product key on the computer, and when i go into word or powerpoint, i will type the product key and it will tell me that the product key is invalid.  I am totally clueless on how to fix it.  So i will appreciate much help from everyone, thanks!

    The product key affixed to your computer is for Windows Vista (the operating system) and not for Microsoft Office.  Please review the following:

    How to determine whether you have a trial edition of a 2007 Office suite or program installed: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927920/en-us

    How to convert a trial version of a 2007 Office suite or program to a full retail perpetual license version: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927756/en-us

    If u have got an HP desktop & notebook follow the procedure to get the product key for ur microsoft office & this is vaild for the first 60 days.Start>All Programs>Microsoft Office>Activation Assistant for Microsoft Office .
