Div control in a custom control RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I created a user control which is also supposed to work as a container.

So I added a child node (<div>) to the control and now VS's designer is complaining this:

"Parser Error: Type 'System.Web.UI.UserControl' does not have a property named 'div'"

So what I did is I created a propery in the control named 'Div'. Although the code works on runtime, in the designer it is still complaining about the same thing.

So I looked all over the web and found i have to put [ParseChildren(true, "div")] on my class and [PersistenceMode(PersistenceMode.InnerProperty)] on my property..

I did that and it is still not working.

Can someone please tell me why?
