Hello,
Depends on amount of files, PC speed and how many external drives. But, yea it does take a while. I will not have a chance for a bit to test OC 2 Tune-up. I have to rebuild my machine (Not for OneCare).

I've ran a few test kind of wild resaults I filled a folder full of zip files of system files program files copied a cd into a zip WLOC 2.0 shows a real issue with compressed Zipped files and Cabs scanning for viruses and spyware scan
I did the same thing with a folder just full of odds and end files not compressed or hidden WLOC Virus & Spyware scan ripped thru 150 files in seconds but the above was a nightmire It sat on a zip file for 4hrs scanning
Another Issue was the Defrag and disc clean up are currently showing now Known issues with running slow and errors.

OC seems to handle CAB's badly, It takes 100% CPU for a long time to work through even one sub folders for eg. MSOCache of MS Office 2007. Those CAB files are only about 30MB each yet it's taking at least 5 minutes on my P4 Northwood 2.66GHz to get thorugh one of them.Saturday, July 14, 2007 4:46 AM

Hello,
Do you two mind trying scanning again afte installing a zip manager and setting it as default for .zip and .cab like www.7zip.com or Winzip or Izrc? Does it run faster?

Just a quick test so accuracy is debatable
Using "Scan for viruses" on
C:\MSOCache\All Users\{90120000-00A1-0404-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C and
C:\MSOCache\All Users\{90120000-001A-0404-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C
Vista default: 3:17min
WinRAR: 3:15min
7-zip: 3:11min

That's not too much of a difference, unfortunately. It seems that scanning compressed files still takes too long. :-(
