The Software Protection Service has discovered a Loader present in your machine - more properly called an Activation Exploit.
Since everything else about the system appears OK apart from the lack of a SLIC table, it would seem that this machine has been improperly upgraded from whatever the original OS was.
Since there is no apparent SLIC table, either the Exploit has blocked it, or the machine came without a copy of Windows installed.
Is there a COA sticker on the machine's case? If so, for what version and edition of Windows does it license the machine?

  • Please use the Acer Recovery Media Purchase Program to obtain the correct (and genuine) Windows operating system that was supposed to be installed on the Acer Aspire PC you have.

  • There isn't COA sticker anywhere. In the box I found some kind of Linpus Linux  User License Notice. What do you recommend I do?

  • I entered both serial number and SNID, but it says that they weren't found in database.

  • You have two choices

    1) revert back to the manufacturer's default OS using their Recovery media - you may have to order that from their site

    3) purchase a Full Retail copy of whichever ecition of Windows7 you require.

Note that unless you require Bitlocker or multiple language interface, Ultimate is an expensive luxury.

Unless you want to be able to connect to a domain-based network, or use XP Mode, Professional is unnecessary.

Home Premium is quite good enough for well over 90% of home users - and half the price of Ultimate!

  • It's almost certain that your machine was delivered as part of a bulk order with Linux preinstalled - the 'retailer' then installed counterfeit Windows and sold them at a significant and illegal profit.
