  • Have a look at this thread - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2811486&SiteID=2

It would appear that there is a corrupt entry in the quarantine folder or a reference to it.

If you need help with this, please contact support.

  • Wizzboy, if I understand you correctly, and you are saying that the Quarantine window actually fails to appear when you click on the command button, then the problem is more likely a corruption of the program code itself, and you might need to remove OneCare, run the clean-up tool, and then reinstall. A corrupt entry in the “Entries” folder does not keep the Quarantine window from loading and populating, it merely triggers a modal error message that effectively locks the window.

You should first test the possibility that this is caused by corruption in the Quarantine by referring to the thread that Steve cited. Since this case appears to be significantly different, you might want to follow Aiscer’s path and delete the entire Quarantine folder. If you are using Vista you will need to refer to this thread for the path: http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3575961&SiteID=2
