I'm new here but had been using ICE since the first version. The software is extremely great and could automatically solve stitching problems way better than other established software most of the time. In the newest version I just had stitched a 10 Gigapixels
panorama consist of nearly 800 images with each image is a 50 Megapixels 8-bit TIFF file.
Currently Im exporting it to disk in 6 portions (cropped image) due to very large requirement of temporary disk space (40 TB for 10 GP) which I don't have. Its been 3 days already and it still shows 1% and it writes to temp disk at an average of 10GB per
day.
I think this is very slow process and if the developer could solve this issue. I compared it with PTGui and AutoPano Giga which could render in less than 24 hours and required less disk space (<8TB of temp disk space).
