  • Open OneCare. At the top of the main window for OneCare will be a banner that identifies why the OneCare status is fair and whatt actions you need to take to get back to Green status. I'm moving your post to the General topic folder since you did not identify what the reason for the fair status is and if you have a problem performing the action noted by OneCare.

  • I'm moving this thread to the Tune-up folder, since the check for missing updates is a function of that part of OneCare.

In addition to Jim's suggestion to reset the database, which does often resolve this, visit Windows Update manually and click the option to restore hidden updates. If any updates have been hidden and not installed, OneCare will continue to complain that updates are missing. Also review the update History to look for failed updates.

  • As far as I can tell from your previous posts One Care is requesting a Windows Update that is already installed. If this is correct try running the database reset tool - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4BC2594B-95AB-4235-B5B8-41656B38480F&displaylang=en

If the database reset tool does not resolve the issue please contact support. How to reach support - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2
