Dynamics Connector: Errors/Freezes with map: NAV Item Card to Product since few weeks .. i think crm Product is the problem, but dont know why? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

this forum is my last option to solve a really stupid thing.

Since maybe 4 weeks, i cant click onto the map "NAV Item Card to Product" to see the mappings and filters. So this map is not de-/activatable and no mappings are changeable anymore.

If for example on the left side i click on Home -> Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Misrocoft Dynamics CRM 2011 -> name / name -> Maps -> NAV Item Card to Product the screen freezes for a long long time and then the following errors are displayed:

    1. The Connector for MSD service dould not be contacted. The client will be closed.
    2. The HHP service located at http://lo9calhost:4740/configuration is unavailable. This could be because the service is too busy or because no endpoint was found listening at the secified address. Pleas ensur that the address is correct and try accessing the service again later.

None of the above errors is coming while all other maps are running and syncing fine .. till i click on the map above. So non of the mentioned errors could be true or helpful.

I even refresed the metadata from CRM. All other maps are working well and are clickable and de-/activatable.

Because i wanted to find out from which side the problem comes (nav or crm) i tested the following:

    1. integrated a new map "NAV Item Card to Invoice" .. this works well. So NAV could not be the problematic side.
    2. intedrated a new map "NAV Customer Card to Product" which brings the above errors. So the problematic side could only be CRM Product, cause the connector has a fine running map from "NAV Customer Card to Account", but every try to integrate the crm Product end in an error.

Because i dont know what i changed in mapping of connector or in product-entity in crm .. i dont know what the problem is, or what i did wrong.

    We are on azure with
    crm-online v 7.1.1.4314 (DB 7.1.1.4309)
nav 2013 R2 Version DE Dynamics NAV 7.1.36366.0
    connector 3.4.304.1

  • Hi, I've run into the example same issue but using the Dynamics Connector between Dynamics CRM Online and AX 2012. Did you find a solution to this problem?

    Thanks,

    Jeremy
