S&T 2013 Map at least 2 years out of date RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just downloaded and installed the trial version on my 64-bit desktop system. It did install and appears to be running fine. However, the map is at least 2 years out of date! It does NOT show the completion of Highway 52 through Santee, CA and connecting to Highway 67. This connection has been open for at least 2 years! When I go to "Send Map Feedback..." it takes me to the NAVTEQ Map Reporter page, which shows the extension correctly! What gives with this!!! Glad I didn't spend the $30 on this worthless update. If S&T is this far out of date on a known local road, how could one trust it in an unknown area?

  • Hi Brent,

If you see the missing road already mapped in Map Reported, then you don't need to send a map feedback. Future map products will incorporate this data in future releases.

Navigable maps are about two to three years behind their printed counterparts due to more work involved.
