Workflow Email send from a team or group mailbox RRS feed

  • I am trying to configure a workflow to send an email on when the owner of a case is a team.   However when I configure the workflow it sends if it is a user but does not send if the owner is a team.

    We receive this error :-

    Cannot create an activity of the specified object type.

    Help ? What am I doing wrong ?

  • Does the team have an email address?  Has the email address been approved by an admin, like you do for Users?  Is that email address actually real?

    I'd start there.
