This Copy of Windows is Not Genuine (Build 6002)

Question
-
Hello there,
So I woke up this morning to find my Computer asking for Windows validation. Was some sort of patch applied last night? Anyway, so even when I re-enter my legitimate code it keeps telling me "This Copy of Windows is not Genuine" my desktop goes away, and I get the little text (Build 6002) down in the bottom corner. Looking through previous, but similar posts, I have tried to apply a few fixes that you guys suggested (including the cscript that re-installs the Licenses in Vista), and yet the problem remains. Here are my scan results:

Hello joeman76,
Vista is showing that it is not currently activated, would you try the below steps to Activate by Phone:
To Activate by Phone:
a) If you have access to the Start button: Click the Start button, and type slui 4 in the search field and then press the "Enter" key. This will bring up the Activate by Phone dialog window. Follow the steps provided by the window. The phone activation process should only take about 6 minutes.
b) If you do not have access to the Start button: Reboot and login to Vista, a dialog window will come up. In that window, click the option "Access computer with reduced functionality". Once you do that, Internet Explorer or Firefox browser will open. In the address bar type c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe press enter, a new window will come up, type: slui 4 and hit enter and follow steps to Activate over the Phone.
NOTE: The important thing to this process is that you need to talk to a Live Activation Rep! When you first call, you will be interacting with an Automated Voice, either select the option to talk to a Live Rep or if there is no option, do not enter any numbers. This should force the automated voice to transfer you to a Live Rep.
Thank you,

I might also add two things that may come into play and be useful to know in my case:
1) The HP machine came with Vista pre-installed, therefore I suppose it is OEM. Using a program to scan the code, the computer is using to OEM key, the same one found on the sticker on the computer case.
2) I just had my motherboard replaced with a new one 2 weeks ago (although the problem only started today).
Thanks.Sunday, November 8, 2009 11:46 PM -

Since it seems very infrequent that people leave a final comment after their problem was resolved, I thought I could do it to help all of the forum searchers out there. I followed the steps to Activate by Phone as mentioned in the above post AND IT WORKED! So my problem WAS fixed! You can close this post off now as it is resolved.
Thanks guys!Tuesday, November 10, 2009 2:15 AM -
