Hello everyone,
After installing a third-party software ( LastPass ) everyone in our organization started getting errors:
title: "SysFader: iexplore.exe - System Error"
Message: "The program can't start because MF.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
I tried contacting the vendor - but they keep pointing us towards Microsoft's technet pages where we find different tries for a solution:
1. Install Windows Media Pack codecs ( KB968211 )
2. repair using DISM
3. repair using sfc /scannow
4. disable visual effects for the system
Unfortunately nothing helps.
We are using Windows 7 Enterprise N 64bit on all affected computers.
Does anyone have an idea how to troubleshoot further?
