  The odds in Las Vegas on whether a Mouse for computers will exist in 5 years is 1.5 to 1. On whether computers in the form necessary to use a Mouse are still manufactured in 5 years is 2 to 1 and whether anybody will actually use a Mouse rather than a Hololens is 1 to 23.2.

  But who cares really. I learned how to type in school, not text on a phone. If PC's were capable enough in 5 years then it's likely nothing more than voice or neural interfaces would be used.
