MS Config Changes Triggers WGA Tool RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello...I am Running a Genuine fully Updated Copy of Win XP Pro.,,,Whenever i dramatically change MSConfig Services, my system triggers the WGA Tool telling me that my copy of Windows is not activated and leaving me with a 3 day activation deadline.....I reactivated three times and had to call for the forth!cause of my product key being activated too many times,,,,,,

My thing is that i would like to run DJ software on a minimal enviroment. i

Shouldnt i have the option since i bought and own the software, to run it as needed according to a given set of parameters?,,,i would like to be enabling and disabling services and hardware without having to reactivate ...,..Is that an option???.....

    Thanks

  • You are not going to gain any perfomance benefit by disabling Services in Windows - it's a pure myth.

  • Hi Nik,

Once you decide on a specific configuration, then reactivate.  You shouldn't need to reactivate after that untill you significantly change the configuration again.

    Thank you,
