Can't get virus and spyware definitions updated

Question

Hi,
I can't get the the virus and spyware definitions updates.
I'm told that the service is currently unavailable at the moment.
The status goes green.
What should I do to get the virus and spyware definitions updated?
Is there maybe some trouble with your system?
Thanks for replying.

Hi,
The problem is solved out.
I've done nothing and the virus and spyware definitions is up-to-date 08/27/07. I think that it was due to temporary server issue.
That's pretty cool.
Thanks for your help.

There may be a temporary server issue. I have been unable to update since yesterday. This seems to only affect the 2.0 beta and not the 1.6 version of One Care.Sunday, August 26, 2007 2:16 PMModerator

Thank you for replying to my post.
Do you think the server issue will be solved tomorrow?
Will the status stay green?

My best guess is that it will be fixed by tomorrow and your ststus should remain green. You are still well protected because all that's missing from the definition database are definitions for viruses and spyware discovered in the last few days and you are still protected by One Care's heuristics engine, which offers protection against virus-like behavior even for undefined viruses.Sunday, August 26, 2007 2:39 PMModerator

Glad to read that all is okay once again and I agree with your assessment that it may have been a server side issue.
