[Dynamics 365] Can't export solution RRS feed

  • Hi

    I have an on premise Dynamics instance that we upgraded from to 8.0 to 8.1 to 365.

    When trying to export a solution created with Dynamics 8.0 :

    - Export as a 8.0 or 8.1 target : I get an "Invalid user authorization" while it used to work when we were in 8.1

    - Export as 8.2 target : I get an "Unexpected error" popup. In the Windows event log, I get this under MSCRMWebService :

    Anyone experienced this before? When I want to import a solution that was created in 8.0 into a 365 setup, do I need to export it as 8.0? 8.1? 8.2?

    Extra details :

    - Unmanaged solution

    - Logged in as system admin or deployment admin user.

    - Dynamics 365 v8.2.0.749

    - Didn't select any advanced system export settings in the export wizard

  • Did you have customized BPF (Business Process Flow) in your old version of CRM?

    We do have a BPF that was created back in 8.0. Does it matter?

  • Does the solution which you want to export include BPF?

    If Yes, that should be an issue of Microsoft.

    to Prove this, you can try to do this

    1. Create new BPF, use very sample step and logic.
    2. Create new solution, then add the BPF into solution.
    3. Try to export the solution.

    if you can export the solution contain new create BPF, that should be one issue of MS;
