Hello Gregg Denman,
Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:
OGA Data-->

Office Diagnostics: B4D0AA8B-604-645_B4D0AA8B-604-645_B4D0AA8B-604-645_025D1FF3-364-80041010_025D1FF3-229-80041010_025D1FF3-230-1_025D1FF3-517-80040154_025D1FF3-237-80040154_025D1FF3-238-2_025D1FF3-244-80070002_025D1FF3-258-3Right now your Dell Studio XPS 1640 computer has a Volume Licensing installation of Office Enterprise 2007 installed, and this installation was done with a now-blocked Volume Licensing Key (VLK). Microsoft blocks VLKs when the key has been lost, stolen, compromised, or when the associated Volume Licensing Agreement is no longer in effect, or if otherwise misappropriated for software piracy reasons.
Normally, legitimate users of Volume Licensing editions of Office are associated with larger business, educational, or governmental organizations. If that's you, please contact your organization's IT support staff for further assistance.
If your use of this installation of Office Enterprise 2007 is not associated with a larger business, educational, or governmental organization, and you purchased the installed copy of Office Enterprise 2007 thinking that it was a retail license to be sold to individual consumers, it is likely that you are a victim of software piracy or counterfeiting. As an individual consumer, you should never have been sold Volume Licensing (VL) materials such as the VL installation disc, and you certainly should not have received a Blocked Product Key for Office Enterprise 2007. You should have been sold Genuine retail licensed software.
If so, your first course of action is to confront your seller with this information and demand a full refund.If the seller refuses to help, please file a piracy report at www.microsoft.com/piracy. Also, depending upon whether you received "high quality" counterfeit materials, you may qualify for the Office Complimentary Offer or for the Office Genuine Advantage discounted offer. Please see the FAQ here: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en#ID0EKNAC If you think that you qualify for the Genuine Office Offer, apply for the Offer thru the Learn More Online link that the OGA Notifier is displaying.
One other possibility is that at one time your computer did have a Genuine installation of Office installed, but for some reason it was replaced with the current installation which is nongenuine. This could have happened if you took your computer to a repair shop and they reinstalled Windows and/or some or all of your programs. You Get Genuine once again by uninstalling the current nongenuine installation of Office and using your Genuine Microsoft hologrammed Office installation CDs, along with the genuine Product Key found on your Office Edition's Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) or yellow-orange Proof Of License label, to put back the genuine installation of Office you may have already had on the computer.

Dan ..
Thanks for the quick reply ..
It should be a VLK since I do work for a large, corporate customer and this laptop is owned by them. But that VLK definitely should not be blocked.
Is there any additional information you can give me that I can forward to my IT support staff that might help them further diagnose the problem?
Thanks.

Hello Gregg Denman,
If you have admin privileges on the computer, you can download and run a small harmless utility called the Magical Jellybean Keyfinder (it's been on the internet for years).
It will extract the product key used to install Office. Email that product key (25 characters in five groups of five each) to your support staff and ask if this is the company key.
If they say no, then they will need to assist you in changing the installed product key to the real Genuine company key.
If they say yes, then they have bigger fish to fry with Microsoft! :-0
