Broken link in download RRS feed

  • Question

  •

I think I originally posted this question in the wrong area. I cannot download part of the Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003. I signed up and received an email from Microsoft. I go to the website in the email. I can download the first part of the program but I cannot download the Microsoft Compute Cluster Pack. I can a message saying the page cannot be found.

Was the page moved? If so, where is it?

  • Have you tried download again? It is possible that there was a minor issue with the web site while you were trying to download the second file.

Alternatively, you may be interested in evaluating pre-release / beta versions of the 2008 version. You can sign up for that from http://microsoft.com/hpc

  • This is question is posted here because this is the only place Microsoft lists to ask questions regarding the Windows Compute Cluster Server. It seems idiotic that Microsoft cannot maintain it web links. If this was the first time it happened I would be a bit more forgiving. The problem is this is a systemic problem. I've lost count of the number of links that are broken on Microsoft's website. I've had this problem with other websites and are able to email them about it. Over 90% of them fix it within a day. There is no way to do this with Microsoft.
