  • Question

  •     I installed my copy of windows Vista 64 Bit two months ago on my new computer build and all went fine, Activated & Validated and was recieving scheduled updates. Two days ago i was checking Microsoft Downloads for DirectX 9 and was asked to validate again, so I did. A window popped up and told me I needed to activate my copy of windows. I have allready activated Windows. Then A windows opens and tells me my copy of windows is not genuine. This is also posted on the lower right hand corner of my screen now. What happened and how can I fix This?Diagnostic Report (1.7.0012.0):

    Hello,

If your System Properties window is showing that you're activated and online validation says you're not, please

    1. Phone activate.  You can start by typing "slui 4" in the search field in the Start Menu and pressing Enter. Follow the prompts through phone activation (be ready for lots of numbers) and then reboot.

    2. Once you're done, please revalidate by clicking on "Validate Windows" here: www.microsoft.com/genuine

Let me know if that works.  Thanks a lot!

    Good luck and thanks!
